This Privacy Policy explains how Tripflip (“Tripflip”, “we”, “us” or “our”) collects, uses and shares information when you use the Tripflip mobile apps, website at tripflip.app, and related services (together, the “Services”).
If you do not agree with this policy, please do not use the Services. Questions: privacy@tripflip.app.
1. Information we collect
Information you provide
- Account details such as name, email address and sign-in credentials when you create an account.
- Preferences, saved places, itineraries and feedback you submit in the app.
- Communications you send us (support, press, partnerships).
Information collected automatically
- Device and app data (device type, OS version, app version, language, crash logs).
- Usage data (screens viewed, features used, approximate interaction timestamps).
- Location data when you allow it — used to show nearby places and navigation. You can disable location in your device settings; some features will then be limited.
- On the website: standard server logs and essential cookies needed for core functions (such as theme preference).

- A buyer or successor if we are involved in a merger, acquisition or asset sale.
4. Retention
We keep personal information only as long as needed for the purposes above, including legal, accounting or reporting requirements. When no longer needed, we delete or anonymise it where reasonably possible.
5. Security
We use technical and organisational measures designed to protect personal information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure; please use a strong unique password and keep your devices up to date.
